About Me

Hello! I am Tahsin. I completed my Masters degree in the ECE department of University of Florida. I graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2017. After graduation, I worked as Machine Learning Engineer in Semion Limited and AI Samurai, served as an RA in the MHealth Lab, Department of Biomedical Engineering, BUET and mentored several undergraduate students in their thesis and research works.

I am currently looking for job opportunities in the domain of AI.

Sorting Algorithms Visualizer

Developed a real-time sorting algorithm visualizer using Python and Streamlit. Source | Demo

Small Object Detection in CT Images Using DASPP

Engineered a Dense Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling (DASPP) and Spatial Context Network with Reverse Axial Attention for detecting small objects in CT images.

ICU Patient Acuity Assessment with Explainable AI

Designed an acuity assessment pipeline with explainable AI to identify key features impacting the condition of ICU patients.

Semi-Supervised Electric Pole Detection

Utilized Faster R-CNN (ResNet50) and YOLOv4 for semi-supervised electric pole detection from dashboard camera footage.

Abnormality Detection in Dairy Products

Constructed a semi-supervised CNN model for detecting abnormalities in images of dairy products.

SemRad CAM Tool for Chest X-rays

Developed a Class Activation Mapping (CAM) tool for chest X-ray localization, powered by ResNet101.

RadAssist: A Web-Based Tool for Brain Hemorrhage Detection

Led backend development of a deep learning model for detecting and visualizing abnormalities in brain CT scans.

THD Measurement in Power Systems

Built a device using a Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and a custom transformer to measure Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) for a BSc thesis project.

Gaming Console Design + Car Racing Game

Created a 2D racing game for PC and Android, complete with an external, custom-built gaming console. A demo is available here.

2-Channel Oscilloscope for Voltage & Current

As a final undergraduate project, designed a GUI-based oscilloscope to measure and plot current and voltage in real time.

Mentoring Undergraduate Thesis

Mentored an undergraduate thesis on *COVID-19 Infection Analysis via Lung Lobe Segmentation* using deep learning.

High School Research Supervision

Guided two students in the Student Science Training Program (SSTP) on hardware security and machine learning research at the University of Florida.
